NO. We dont care if it is a Sci-Fi-Horror-Period piece with billions of dollars in special effects. If it is the best script then it will win.
What genres do you accept?
We accept and welcome all genres.
What elements of the script are taken into consideration during the judging?
Story, story and more story. While grammar and spelling make a script easier to understand and read, they dont make up a great story. The screenplay that wins is something that we would most like to see.
If submitted electronically, does my script get read on the computer screen or is it printed out?
Computer screen. If you think something gets missed from having it read on a computer, you are more than welcome to submit a hard copy.
Does the writer maintain rights to the screenplay?
Yes. When entered into the contest you retain all rights.
Do I need to submit a logline? Synopsis?
No.

Why Should I Enter?
Great Feedback. Writer Friendly Contest. While other contests may offer to put you in contact with studios or agents, most of them just use an E-Query service that you could use for $85 and accomplish the same thing. Without providing any feedback to you.
Adjusted Gratuity? Isn't that the production company?
Yes it is. But it doesnt guarantee that your movie will be produced by us should you choose to use the winnings to produce your script.
Do you accept short screenplays?
Yes. Since we are just beginning all screenplays/television pilots are judged in the same category. Thus the same entry fee applies. Everyone gets the same reward so everyone takes the same risk.
I have no idea how to make a film on my own.
Don't worry. We have tips for you on the Producing Your Film tab. Breaking down Pre-Production, Casting, Post and a whole bunch of other useful tips. Remember, Hendrix couldn't read or write music, Tarrantino never went to film school, Johnny Depp never took acting lessons. You never know what you are capable of till you try.
Do you accept Checks?
Yes. Make it out to Adjusted Gratuity. Please be aware that we won't read your script until two weeks after the check clears. It's not that we don't trust you. We don't trust anyone.
What's the minimum/maximum required page length?
No minimum. Max is 125 pages. If more then please submit a request to getmeproduced_gmail.com
